Windswept mainly breeds to add a line or something special into our own program.  Although we strive to only produce the best quality, not all litters will turn out the way we had hoped.  While most litters give us several exceptional kittens to choose from for our program, which in turn gives others the opportunity to get an outstanding kitten to add to their family.  Since we want the best for our babies we try to keep our prices low as spay or neutered pets, our preferences are for our beloved spoiled kittens to get loving pets homes, although some exceptions are made to a selective Breeders. 

One of our main goals is to produce wonderful dog like personalities.  It has come to our attention that most people who get one of our kitten are not use to the type of personalities that most of our kittens have, with a few being know as "extreme personalities".  These kittens are usually not your typical independent cat, they are very active in their families.  While not hyper or wall climbers they do want to be included in the happenings of the home.  Since our kittens are well socialized before they leave and have had the opportunity to become a part of our family most are well adjusted.  Although, we have noticed that a very small percentage of our males tend to be hands-off and unsociable from birth up until the ages of 4-6 months then become very very lovable.  We always inform potential new families of what personality we have found in the kitten they are interested in.  While we can in no way guarantee the personality of the kitten once it has left our home, we try our best to match the right kitten to the right home.

All kittens are here until they are approximately 12 weeks old, we judge each litter on how they do after they are weaned.  We like to know that they are eating solid dry food well and gaining weight, as well as, using the litter box faithfully.  Our kittens get their first shots at 12 per the American Academy of Feline Practitioner's (AAFP)  protocols/recommendations.  All kittens are wormed with Panacure or Drontal wormer.

Kittens can be shipped world wide.  We charge $250.00 shipping charge for kittens with in the United States, this includes, crate, health certificate and airline flight with Continental Airlines.  For adults we charge $350.00 for shipment with in the United States, this includes crate, health certificate, rabies shot and airline flight with Continental Airlines.  For International shipments cost increase since we use AARK Air International, Inc. or All Pet Travel.  International shipments will be quoted when a kitten/cat is sold and arrangements are needed.

Golden Lane, Peoria, AZ 85345 623-810-9427 windsweptcats@gmail.com (hereinafter called 'the Breeder) AND   _______________________________________ (hereinafter called 'the Purchaser')   WHEREBY IT IS AGREED that for a consideration of $__________ receipt of which the Breeder hereby acknowledges the Breeder agrees to sell and the Purchaser agrees to purchase the cat/kitten described  herein as a:   D.O.B. SEX COLOR NAME         SIRE DAM     PURCHASED AS A: COMPANION/PET   COMPANION/BREEDER     Conditions Of Sale Purchaser agrees that Breeder requires a Holding fees (half down of the cat/kittens purchase price) which is non-refundable as this prevents us from selling the cat/kitten to someone else as we are holding/boarding/taking care of the cat/kitten for you and will not be refunded if you change your mind. Purchaser understands that the color of the cat/kitten purchased is the best estimated color at the time of purchase. Cats/kittens may change color slightly or significantly with age and no exchanges or reimbursements are made due to color. Seller makes no guarantee as to the, personality, tail length, fur length, temperament, or any other God made features of the cat/kitten. Our cats/kittens are guaranteed to be of sound health, at the time of sale, and for a period of 72 hours. If the cat/kitten is found to be ill, during that time, it must be reported to Breeder immediately. The Breeder should be contacted at once before any major treatment is begun. Do not proceed with any treatments unless you are making a decision to keep said cat/kitten. Purchaser understands that new cat/kittens may show signs of stress including, but not limited to sneezing, discharge from the nose and eyes, diarrhea and/or constipation. These effects can be minimized by feeding identical food as served by the breeder, offering bottled or distilled water and overall taking measures to reduce stress during integration period. If he/she is found to be medically deficient, with an untreatable or life-threatening genetic condition, within a year, it must be reported immediately. A replacement cat/kitten of equal value will be provided within 6 months of the return/demise of the ill cat/kitten. This will be done ONLY with a certified veterinarian's certificate of diagnosis and/or cause of death. The cat/kitten cannot be returned after the 72 hours, and/or if he/she has been exposed to other animals that have not been currently tested for FeLV and FIV. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to provide immediate medical care if the cat/kitten shows signs of illness or distress. Failure to do so will render any guarantee null and void. Cats/kittens sold as Companion/Pets, will be neutered by a Veterinary Surgeon/Practitioner, before attaining the age of eight months. The purchaser agrees to prevent this cat/kitten from breeding without permission of Windswept Cattery. Not under any circumstances whatsoever to use the cat/kitten for breeding or allow the cat/kitten to breed with any other cat of the same or a different species, neither will the Purchaser allow any such use to be made of the cat/kitten by any other party. The purchaser will produce to the Breeder a Certificate from the Veterinary Surgeon/Practice stating that this has been carried out. The transfer/registration certificate will then be issued to the Purchaser. Purchaser understands that a $2500.00 fine will be owed to Breeder should it be found that cat/kitten sold on a Companion/Pet was bred. Cats/kittens that are sold as breeders will come with full breeding rights and no restrictions on him/her or his/her offspring that is not included in an amendment to this contract, signed by both parties at the time of sale. The purchaser will be provided with all registration papers at the conclusion of the sale as dictated by this contract and any amendment that is included. If for any reason it becomes necessary for the Purchaser to transfer the cat/kitten to a third party the Purchaser undertakes to obtain from the third party a covenant in similar terms to those contained herein or the Purchaser agrees that this cat is not to be resold or given to any other person/cattery without being spayed or neutered. In the event of these covenants being breached the Breeder shall have the right to repossess legally the cat/kitten and to be reimbursed by the Purchaser the reasonable cost of such repossession and the keeping of such cat/kitten for a period of up to two months after repossession. Such costs to include Veterinary examination and fees, plus be fined $2500.00 for breach of contract. Under no circumstances will the purchased cat/kitten be placed in a shelter, or abandoned. It is agreed that this cat/kitten will be maintained as an indoor-only pet, and not be allowed to roam freely outside.
